Why can’t Trump get it though his head that the Democrats have nothing to do politically with his legal troubles. They are all self-inflicted. Certainly not a witch hunt when you have a moron committing actions determined by the courts as criminal or civilly responsible.
Mr. Trump was actually found him guilty of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. This is the first time a former U.S. president has been convicted of a criminal complaint. Some of those jurors were actually registered Republicans even with his attorneys having a role in jury selection.
Mr. Trump was also found guilty of defrauding the State of New York. Former President Donald Trump was fined $354.8 million plus approximately $100 million in interest in a civil fraud lawsuit. In his decision, Judge Arthur Engoron condemned Trump. The judge stated that the former president’s credibility was “severely compromised.” The frauds “shock the conscience” and that Trump and his co-defendants showed a “complete lack of contrition and remorse” that Judge Engoron said “borders on pathological. “They are accused only of inflating asset values to make more money. The documents prove this over and over again. This is a venial sin, not a mortal sin.”
Mr. Trump and his attorneys have frequently criticized the justice system, but as of this writing, have provided no evidence that proves their point. Just as they could provide no proof that the 2020 election was “stolen”.
