Which side of history are you going to be on after November 5, 2024?
A vote for Harris and the Democrats will allow the following to occur.
- Will protect Medicare and Social Security.
- Will support bi-partisan legislation on immigration.
- Supports increasing tax rates on businesses from 21% to 28%. Currently many of the largest corporations pay minimal or no taxes.
- Will promote legislation that makes abortion and many contraceptives legal in the United States so the Supreme Court cannot insert their opinions as is currently occurring.
- Will support our allies in NATO.
- Will not allow Russia to annex large portions of a sovereign nation, as is Russia’s intent in Ukraine.
- Will support the independence of Taiwan.
- Will continue to support the independence of the Department of Justice and the FBI.
A vote for Trump and the Republicans will allow the following to occur.
- Puts a convicted felon in the White House along side a number of Republican Senators that have been held civilly liable for business violations of SEC rules and regulations.
- Donald Trump has stated that he wants to be an autocrat or dictator.
- Has proposed to change to Medicare and Social Security are needed that will weaken or reduce benefits from each program.
- Will reduce taxes on businesses from 21% to 15%. This will allow the One-percenters to keep more of their money. And less money will be available to reduce the national debt, be available to pay for necessary services.
- Will propose federal legislation to make abortion and many contraceptives illegal in the United States.
- Will create havoc with U.S. foreign policy.
- Will weaken NATO.
- Will try to eliminate foreign aid to Ukraine which will probably force some sort of negotiated peace giving Russia a large portion of the Ukraine. Which countries will be next?
- Would not support Taiwan if China would chose to invade.
- Will increase costs to consumers by increasing tariffs and taxes on goods manufactured outside the U.S. and imported from foreign countries.
- Will deport millions of workers that will increase costs in a number of industries. Agriculture, increasing food cots, construction, increasing housing cost.
- Proposes to reclassify thousands of federal civil service workers as political appointees in order to replace them with people loyal to the president. Eliminating generational knowledge and expertise.
- Will truly weaponize the Department of Justice and the FBI.
- Will further politicize the Supreme Court of the United States by appointing additional extremely conservative justices to further restrict or eliminate policies considered to be to
- Would support further weakening of the separation between church and state. Even if you are a Christian who do you want teaching your children about your religion, who do you want to dictate your choices based on another denomination or religion’s beliefs.
